Motorhome Stop
There are two motorhome stops in Degerfors – Ställplats Degernäs and Ställplats Berget. Both are booked on-site via the Parkster app, and payment is made in the same way for both locations.
Degernäs Motorhome stop
Degernäs Motorhome Stop is located by Lake Möckeln in Degerfors Municipality. From the site, it is within walking distance to central Degerfors.
The area, which offers parking for up to six motorhomes, is beautifully situated on the southern shore of Lake Möckeln. All spaces are equipped with electrical outlets. A large beach is located next to the site, as well as a public toilet with latrine disposal. There is also a freshwater tap available for refilling your water supply.
The site is open from April 1 to October 31. These dates may change depending on weather conditions, for example in the event of freezing temperatures that prevent the water supply from being available. The area is not plowed during winter or snowy periods, but visitors are welcome to park their motorhomes there at their own discretion.
The maximum stay is 48 hours. The fee for parking is 200 SEK per day. Payment can be made via Parkster – either through their app or by SMS.
Each space is equipped with a power post that can be used throughout the stay. The electricity supply is fused at 16 amps per outlet.

Berget Motorhome Stop
There are two motorhome parking spaces available at Berget . A popular destination in central Degerfors, close to both nature and various activities.
On-site you'll find a café, antique shops, local crafts, flea marketstalls, a nostalgia loft, a general store, and animals to meet. Throughout the year, various events are held, including live music, flea markets, Farmer’s Day, Christmas markets, and ghost walks.
Berget is within walking distance of the Sveafallen Nature Reserve and conveniently located near both train and bus connections.

The site is open all year round. The maximum stay is 48 hours. The parking fee is 100 SEK per day. Payment can be made via Parkster, either through the app or by SMS.
Unauthorized parking: Staying at the motorhome stop without a valid booking is not permitted. Violations may result in a fine.
Each space is equipped with a power post available throughout your stay. Each outlet provides a 16-amp fused electricity supply.

Book and pay via the app:
Start by downloading the Parkster app to your phone. Then create an account, enter your details, and start your parking session. You do not need to display a sticker in your vehicle when using Parkster. All payments are made afterwards when using the app. You can choose to pay by debit/credit card, paper invoice, or email invoice. Please note that a fee of 25 SEK is added for each paper invoice.

You can pay your parking fee by sending an SMS with the zone code, license plate number, and personal ID number to:
You pay the standard SMS rate to send this message. Please note that SMS parking is only valid once you have received a confirmation receipt on your phone.
The zone code can be found on the signage at the parking area, and your parking session begins when you receive the confirmation SMS.
To end your parking session, send the word “STOP” to the number:
You only need to include your personal ID number the first time you park. After that, the zone code and license plate number are sufficient.
Access to toilets and waste disposal at Degernäs motorhome site:
When you book your pitch via Parkster, your confirmation will include a four-digit code.
This code is used to access the toilets and the latrine disposal station. Enter the four-digit code on the keypad located on the wall of the toilet building, and the doors will open.
